About Peggy Martin
If a résumé could really represent a person, Peggy Martin's life would look like a list:
Lists, though, fail to capture her essence. With an innate wanderlust, Peggy Martin grew up in the small West Texas town of Cisco. In the process of moving sixty miles west to Abilene, she lived in Austin, Texas; Würzburg, Germany; Columbus, Georgia; Alytus, Lithuania; Columbia, Missouri; and Fort Worth, Texas. Places she visited without establishing a residence include Guatemala, Peru, Mexico, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Sweden, Latvia, Canada, Mexico, and many of the United States. She eagerly anticipates expanding the list. Peggy delved into learning in the Cisco schools, the University of Texas where she earned a B.A. in English, Columbia College, and Abilene Christian University which awarded her the Master of Arts in Psychology. Peggy is the mother of three, grandmother of four, and ally/companion/owner of a year-old filly. The former Peace Corps volunteer passionately dances, travels, rides, and reads. Among her proudest moments she recalls hearing her teenage grandson Parker tell a friend, "My grandmother climbs trees with me!" "Uh Uh!" "Uh HUH! She's been climbing trees with me since I was two years old!" Living the example, Peggy advises those with whom she works to "Imagine being where you belong and enjoying it when you get there!" For the past fifteen years, Peggy has assisted individuals and groups to hone their competitive edge, to achieve the zenith of performance in equestrian events, tennis, golf, track, and other endeavors.
